St. Anselm (formerly Arena Rock, Mendoza Line, Brooklyn Bowl, and Impose) is one of the original expansion teams when the league grew to 8 teams. Managed by Pete Hoffman, they have been to three league championships, winning once.
Charmingly nicknamed The Boo Cakes – a reference to a beautiful display of affection between several consenting adults – they are known for their tight defense and perfectly timed offensive explosions. In 2018, the Boo Cakes had 13 total wins, led the league in runs against and advanced to the second round of the playoffs. They have added a several youngsters to their squad in recent seasons and will be among the favorites again in 2019. Beware the Boo!
